I live in Dallas, and it’s my 7 year anniversary this weekend and want to plan something awesome. We’ve never been on vacation without our kids so this is a perfect opportunity for some romance or even what we want to do!! I was thinking Shreveport, but am not so much a gambler and don’t wanna drive too far from Dallas. We’re spooky kind of people, like real haunted houses and cool cemetaries, s’why I thought LA… I need ideas quick, I’ve been planning for a week and have NOTHING! Where should I go and what should I do?? Is there a suggested website where I could find ideas, guys?? The 19th approaches fast!!!!

I have a Dachshund that I bought from a pet store in Shreveport, Louisiana. She is the cutest thing I have ever seen. But I wonder about her. When we bought her the pet store told us she was a full breed. Well to everyone that sees her they think she is Cur Dog and Weenie mixed because of her colors. Does this mean they lied to us or is she a mix breed.
We haven’t recieved the registration papers yet.
Yea I did pay alot for the dog. She cost us over $400. They said she was registered and that I would recieve the papers in about a month. If it turns out the she is not a full breed, I will deman some money back for her. I thought it was rediculous for the price anyway, but she is just too darn cute!
Wow. I feel bad for buying her from a pet store. I am not sorry for getting her, because she is a wonderful pet. I have had her about a month now. I didn’t know anything about puppy mills. I know when I had bought my Golden Retriever from a breeder in my town, he was a good pet. But he died in like 3 days. So I wanted to switch the way I bought my pets. :o( Is there anything that can be done to help those poor animals?

I know I have read some posts about getting rid of her, but I will not do that. I love her way too much to get rid of her. She is a part of the family and that just won’t happen. But if it turns out that she is not a purebred I will talk to the owner’s of the pet store to get some of my money back.
